Dermal Filler Tucson + Lip Filler Tucson: Structure, Shape & Balance
Dermal filler can change volume, contour and facial structure, which is exactly why I do not treat it like a quick beauty add-on. I’m Dr. Kelley J. Beck, DNP, FNP-C, Family Nurse Practitioner, and I build filler plans around your anatomy, movement, goals and the amount of change that actually makes sense.
Quick Answer
Hyaluronic acid dermal filler is an injectable gel used to add or modify volume and contour in selected facial areas. Different filler products are designed and FDA-approved for different indications, so choosing the product, amount, depth and placement should follow an anatomical assessment rather than a one-size-fits-all syringe plan.
Start With the Anatomy
What Are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable materials used to alter volume, contour or the appearance of selected wrinkles and folds. At All Around Beauty Plus, I currently work with temporary hyaluronic acid, or HA, fillers.
Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in human tissues and can bind water. In filler products, HA is formulated into injectable gels with different physical properties so that one product may be better suited to a particular approved indication, anatomical area or treatment goal than another.
The important part is that “filler” is not one universal substance and a syringe is not a facial treatment plan.
If you are comparing a dermal fillers clinic in Tucson, a lip filler clinic, or a lip injection clinic, I would pay as much attention to who is making the treatment decision as I would to the product being advertised.
Why Filler Planning Matters
Volume Is Only One Part of the Conversation
Structure
Filler can change how facial features are supported or projected. That means placement matters as much as quantity.
Proportion
A technically successful injection can still look wrong if it ignores the relationship between the lips, chin, nose, cheeks, jawline and the rest of the face.
Movement
Your face moves when you talk, smile and make expressions. I evaluate both resting anatomy and movement before deciding what I would recommend.
Restraint
More product is not automatically a better treatment. Sometimes a staged plan, a smaller change or no additional filler is the more appropriate choice.
Individualized Facial Filler
Dermal Filler Treatment Areas I Commonly Evaluate
Treatment areas depend on anatomy, product indication, medical history and the actual concern you want to address. Not every area below is appropriate for every client or every product.
Lips
Lip augmentation, contour, border definition or selected asymmetry concerns may be discussed after evaluating lip anatomy and movement.
Cheeks + Midface
Selected HA fillers may be considered for cheek augmentation, age-related midface contour deficiencies or structural support depending on the product and treatment plan.
Chin
Chin contour and projection can influence overall facial balance, especially in relationship to the lips, jawline and profile.
Jawline
Selected facial-balancing concerns involving contour or support may be discussed after assessment.
Nasolabial Folds
Several HA fillers have FDA-approved indications that include moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial folds.
Marionette + Perioral Areas
Product choice and treatment approach depend on whether the concern is a dynamic wrinkle, fold, volume issue or another anatomical feature.
Nose
Liquid rhinoplasty or non-surgical nose reshaping is an off-label filler use and deserves a separate risk discussion. I cover that in detail below.
Lip Filler Tucson
Lip Filler Is About More Than Making Lips Bigger
People searching for Lip Filler Tucson often arrive with very different goals. One client may want actual added volume. Another may care more about border definition, shape, asymmetry or how the upper and lower lip relate to the rest of the profile.
My approach is conservative and anatomy-first. I would rather build toward an appropriate result over time than put more product into a lip simply because an entire syringe exists.
I also look at the surrounding face. Lip volume that ignores chin projection, nose shape, dental support or the natural relationship between the upper and lower lip can look disconnected from the person wearing it.
Current filler options include HA products from the Teoxane RHA® Collection and Evolysse™ family. Product choice depends on the treatment goal and the product’s approved indication.
Real All Around Beauty Plus filler photography will live here as I finish organizing standardized, appropriately consented before-and-after images. I would rather leave the gallery incomplete than fill it with stock “results” that are not mine.
Real Results Only
Dermal Filler & Lip Filler Before and After Photos
Before-and-after photography can be useful, but only when you know what you are comparing.
Good filler photography should use similar lighting, angles, facial expressions and camera distance. The treatment should also be identified honestly. A client who had filler in several areas should not be presented as though one syringe in one location created the entire change.
Once this gallery is complete, I plan to organize photographs by treatment type so clients researching lip filler, cheek or midface filler, chin contouring and other facial-balancing approaches can see actual All Around Beauty Plus work.
Another client’s result is educational, not a guarantee of what your anatomy will do.
HA Filler Tucson
The Filler Products I Work With
I like having more than one HA filler option because different products have different approved indications and physical characteristics. You do not need to choose your own filler from a menu before I evaluate you.

Evolysse™
Evolysse™ Form and Evolysse™ Smooth are current HA filler options within the practice.
Evolysse™ Form
FDA-indicated for dermal and subdermal injection to correct moderate-to-severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial folds in adults age 22 and older.
Evolysse™ Smooth

Product choice, amount, anatomical area and injection depth depend on the treatment plan and the specific product indication.
Different Tools for Different Problems
Dermal Filler vs Botox vs Lip Flip
These treatments are often grouped together online even though they work very differently.
Dermal Filler
Adds injectable material that can modify volume, contour or structure depending on the product and anatomical area.
Neurotoxin
Temporarily reduces selected muscle activity. It does not replace lost volume or function like HA filler.
Lip Flip
Uses botulinum toxin around selected upper-lip muscles and may influence lip posture or movement without adding filler volume.
Non-Surgical Nose Job Tucson
Liquid Rhinoplasty / Non-Surgical Nose Reshaping
I have been performing more liquid rhinoplasty consultations and treatments, also commonly called a non-surgical nose job.
In selected clients, small amounts of HA filler may be used to alter the appearance of nasal contour, profile or proportion without surgery.
But this is not simply “a little filler in the nose.”
The nose has important vascular anatomy and filler injection into the nose is not an FDA-approved dermal-filler use. The FDA specifically identifies nasal filler injection as an unapproved use.
That means any liquid rhinoplasty discussion needs to include the off-label nature of treatment, realistic limitations, vascular risks, alternatives and whether treatment makes sense at all.
Dermal Filler Cost Tucson
How Much Does Dermal Filler Cost in Tucson?
At All Around Beauty Plus, filler treatments generally start around $800 and increase from there depending on the product, treatment area, amount used and individualized treatment plan.
I do not like surprise pricing. Before treatment, we review what I am recommending, how much product I anticipate using and what that means financially.
Sometimes the right plan is one syringe. Sometimes appropriate treatment may require more product or staged appointments. Sometimes I recommend doing less than you originally expected.

Transparency Matters
Dermal Filler Is Elective. Emergency Preparedness Is Not.
Filler is a medical procedure with real risks. Most discussions online focus on bruising or swelling because those are easier to talk about. I think clients deserve to understand the uncommon but serious complications too.
The most concerning filler complication is unintended injection into a blood vessel, which can compromise blood supply to tissue.
Although uncommon, reported complications include tissue necrosis, visual changes including blindness, stroke and other serious injury.
Knowing that risk does not mean filler should never be performed. It means anatomy knowledge, product knowledge, careful technique, patient selection, recognition of warning signs and a complication-response plan matter.
Possible Filler Risks Include
- Swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness or pain
- Asymmetry or an aesthetic result different from what was expected
- Lumps, nodules or granulomas
- Infection or delayed inflammatory reactions
- Migration or movement of filler material
- Vascular occlusion and tissue injury
- Rare serious complications including visual injury, blindness or stroke
If a client experiences concerning symptoms after filler, especially unusual or escalating pain, skin-color change, blanching or visual symptoms, prompt evaluation matters.
HA Filler Dissolving
Can Lip Filler or Dermal Filler Be Dissolved?
Hyaluronic acid filler can often be reduced or dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase.
I offer hyaluronidase when clinically appropriate, whether the issue involves an HA filler complication or an elective decision to reduce or remove appropriate HA filler.
Hyaluronidase is an important part of HA-filler complication preparedness, but the use of hyaluronidase specifically to dissolve cosmetic HA filler is itself an off-label use.
Dissolving also is not a magic “undo” button. It has its own risks, may require more than one treatment, and the appropriate approach depends on what product was placed, where it is located, why it needs to be reduced and what the tissue looks like clinically.
If you received filler elsewhere and are concerned about the result, bring as much information as you have about the product, date and amount used.
Scope Matters
Areas I Do Not Treat Just Because Filler Exists
A long treatment menu does not automatically make a practice better.
I intentionally do not offer filler in every anatomical area where somebody on the internet may advertise an injection.
At this time, I do not offer filler treatments for areas such as:
This is a practice-scope decision, not a statement that every other possible filler treatment is inherently wrong. If I believe a concern is better evaluated by another specialist or treated with another modality, I would rather refer than improvise.
I don’t start with a syringe.
I start with your face.
My Filler Philosophy
Sometimes the Best Filler Plan Uses Less Filler
I look at the feature you are concerned about, but I also look at how that feature relates to everything around it.
That may mean recommending a different area than the one you initially asked about. It may mean staging treatment. It may mean choosing another product. It may mean discussing neurotoxin instead of filler.
It can also mean telling you I do not think you need anything today.
I enjoy aesthetics. I do not need every appointment to end with a sale.

Your Consultation, Plan & Injections Are With Me
At All Around Beauty Plus, your dermal filler consultation is not handed from a salesperson to a coordinator to a different injector.
I am Dr. Kelley J. Beck, DNP, FNP-C, Family Nurse Practitioner. I personally evaluate your anatomy, discuss your goals, recommend the treatment plan and perform the injections.
I want clients to understand what product I am recommending, why I am recommending it, what the realistic alternatives are and what the meaningful risks are before we proceed.
You are always allowed to ask why.
Tucson Filler Appointments
I Prefer a Controlled Setting for Filler
All Around Beauty Plus is known for concierge aesthetics, but dermal filler is one area where I place extra importance on environment and setup.
In-studio filler appointments are available at both Tucson-area treatment locations.
Mobile filler can sometimes be considered, but it is handled case by case and is entirely dependent on my clinical determination of whether the location, treatment, setup and circumstances are appropriate.
In other words, mobile filler is not something I promise simply because I offer mobile neurotoxin appointments.

Dermal Filler Tucson FAQs
Questions About Dermal Filler & Lip Filler
How much does dermal filler cost in Tucson?
All Around Beauty Plus filler treatments generally start around $800 and increase depending on product, treatment area, amount used and individualized plan. The recommended treatment and cost are reviewed before injections are performed.
How much does lip filler cost in Tucson?
Lip filler pricing depends on the product, amount used and treatment plan. All Around Beauty Plus filler pricing generally begins around $800, with final pricing reviewed before treatment.
What filler products does All Around Beauty Plus use?
Current HA filler options include Evolysse™ Form, Evolysse™ Smooth, RHA Redensity®, RHA® 2, RHA® 3 and RHA® Dynamic Volume. Product choice depends on anatomy, treatment goal and the product’s approved indication.
Which RHA filler is used for lips?
RHA® 3 has an FDA indication that includes injection into the vermilion body, vermilion border and oral commissures to achieve lip augmentation and lip fullness in adults age 22 and older. Whether it is appropriate for a particular client still requires evaluation.
How long does lip filler or dermal filler last?
Duration varies significantly by product, approved indication, anatomical area, amount used, metabolism and individual response. I prefer discussing expected duration for the specific filler and treatment plan rather than giving one universal timeline for all HA filler.
Can lip filler migrate?
Migration or movement of filler material has been reported as a possible filler complication. Product choice, placement, amount, prior filler history and anatomy are among the factors considered when evaluating a client.
Can lip filler be dissolved?
Hyaluronic acid filler can often be reduced or dissolved using hyaluronidase when clinically appropriate. The use of hyaluronidase specifically for cosmetic HA filler dissolution is off-label and has its own risks and limitations.
Is liquid rhinoplasty FDA-approved?
No dermal filler is FDA-approved for injection into the nose. Liquid rhinoplasty is an off-label filler use and involves important vascular risks that should be discussed before any treatment is considered.
What are the serious risks of dermal filler?
Filler risks include common effects such as swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness, as well as less common or rare complications such as infection, nodules, migration and vascular occlusion. Unintended injection into a blood vessel can lead to tissue necrosis, visual injury including blindness, stroke or other serious harm.
Do you perform under-eye filler?
No. Under-eye filler is not currently part of my treatment scope at All Around Beauty Plus. I would rather refer an anatomical concern than perform a treatment simply because other practices advertise it.
Can dermal filler be done as a mobile appointment?
Mobile filler can sometimes be considered, but I prefer a controlled treatment environment and mobile filler is never guaranteed. The setting is determined case by case based on the proposed treatment, environment and my clinical judgment.
